Derby LIVE produce and present theatre and entertainment within the City, and we also manage many outdoor events and the outdoor spaces in Derby City Centre.

Derby LIVE manage the following event spaces in Derby City Centre:

If you wish to stage an event in Derby City Centre, be it a circus, a fun fair, an arts event, a sporting event or a fundraising event, Derby LIVE are here to help.
We welcome events in Derby City Centre and provide the following service to help you get the best from your event.
We will advise on the best site, arrange site visits and provide liaison with the emergency services, health and safety officials and other interested parties through a monthly Health and Safety Advisory Group.
The Space Hire team have many years experience in staging a wide variety of events and our expertise is at your deposal to make your event a safe and successful one.
Markets
Derby LIVE run a monthly Farmers' Market and welcome Occasional Outdoor Specialist Markets. If you wish to bring an outdoor market to Derby City Centre please contact the Space Hire Team.
Street Trading
The Street Trading consent area in Derby City Centre comprises St Peter's Street, The Corn Market, Osnabruck Square and Market Place.
If you wish to promote your business, sell a service or goods, raise funds or awareness for your charity or advertise an activity on the busy city centre streets of Derby then the Space Hire Team are here to help.
The friendly team will take your bookings, advise on the best site for you and arrange Street Trading Licences, vehicle permits, electricity supply and any other permissions required so as to make your visit to Derby a smooth and successful one.
Busking
Derby LIVE welcomes buskers in Derby City Centre.
If you are a musician, performer or artist and you would like to busk in Derby City Centre please contact the Space Hire Team or download an application form from the busking page.
Leafleting
As of 1 February 2011 leafleting in Derby City Centre is subject to the provision of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 and will require a licence. Applications for a leafleting licence should be made to Derby City Council, Environmental Health Team on 01332 641333.
Derby LIVE customers who wish to leaflet as part of a wider promotion or trading activity do not need a Leafleting Licence.
