The first Derby Comedy Festival went down a huge success, but don't worry if you've got a comedy shaped hole in your life because there's plenty more comedy beyond the festival here at Derby LIVE.

First of all, this Sat 5 Jul we have the wonderful Doug Segal performing at the Guildhall Theatre, and if comedy isn't enough, he claims he can make you a mentalist too...

On Fri 25 Jul, Skins favourite and all round funny man Joel Dommett will be here to entertain you in his Practical Jokers stand up show at The Silk Mill Museum.

Moving into the Autumn, drag artist Ceri Dupree brings her show filled with all the best divas to the Guildhall Theatre on Tue 2 - Wed 3 Sep.

After the resounding success of the Funhouse Comedy Club at the festival, they're back! With two brand new line ups on Sat 6 Sep and Sat 18 Oct to bring the funny back to Derby!

TV panel show favourite Chris Ramsey returns to Derby this Oct when he brings his Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television show to The Venue.

Mock The Week regular Mark Watson comes to the Guildhall on Thu 6 Nov with his Flaws tour.

We're pleased that we've been chosen to host one of 20 regional heats for the Hobgoblin Comedy Award finals - with a whole host of up and coming talent, you won't want to miss out.

After a sell-out show at the Comedy Festival, Comedy Club 4 Kids returns this Nov to the Guildhall Theatre to entertain your little ones once more!

What better way to round off the year than a Christmas Special Funhouse Comedy Club - with a stella line up and plenty of Xmas spirit!

Keep an eye out on the website for more comedy acts coming soon.
