Family Arts Festival fun this half term

With Half term just around the corner Derby's venues are opening their doors to families around the city with a selection of shows, arts and dance events as part of the national Family Arts Festival.

DerbyLIVE is taking part in the Festival with three exciting shows, which includes Sing-a-long-a Frozen on Sun 25 Oct, The Boat and The Blue also on Sun 25 Oct and The Falcons Malteser on Wed 28 Oct.

The programme is organised by Derbys' Family Art Network, which is a partnership to increase participation opportunities and cultural events across the city this autumn.

Other venues in the city taking part in the Creative Family Arts Festival include, Déda, Derby Museums, Derby Live, Derby Theatre and The Quad.

The Festival is run as part of the Family Arts Campaign and is supported using public funding by the Arts Council England, with the aim to develop the range of arts events and activities available to families - the quality as well as the overall experience.
