Ice Rink and Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair go down a treat

Over the festive period thousands of you enjoyed the Christmas Ice Rink and Christmas Arts & Craft Fair.
The fifth year of the Christmas Ice Rink has proven to be a resounding success with more than 15,000 of you taking to the ice including over 7000 children between Friday 27 November and Tuesday 5 January.
The Ice Rink also hosted a number of your parties, corporate events and birthday celebrations. Many children had a great time with bob skates and metal frame skates, penguins and bananas, making it easier for everyone to have a go.
The Christmas Arts & Craft Fair saw a ten thousand increase in usage compared to last year with an estimated 45,000 visitors to the fair between 27 November and 23 December.
Stall holders included a range of independent crafters, who were selling an array of items including clothes, toys, decorative items and luxury chocolate.
A great number of you also enjoyed the free entertainment that included Dancing Puddings, The Salvation Army, Lost Elves and Musical Ruth goes Jingle Jangle.
