We're thrilled to be able to announce that Derby and panto favourite Mike “Squeaky” McClean will be returning to Derby for the fourth time in our 2015 Christmas Panto Aladdin

Mike will play Wishee Washee in Derby's biggest all-star traditional family pantomime, which takes place at the new Derby Arena in December. Mike will be back to entertain audiences again with his own special, unique style of comedy.

Mike said: “I’m so excited to be back in Derby. I missed the city and the audiences last year. I hope I see lots of familiar faces in the audience at this new arena. I hear there’s a cycle track. I wouldn’t mind a go on that. And the arena’s near the football ground isn’t it? If Derby are promoted at the end of the season then maybe I’ll get to see my team Manchester City annihilate them! Only joking Derby. You’ll be fine!”

Mike has previously appeared in three hugely popular pantos at the Assembly Rooms, having shared the stage with Linda Robson, Paul Nicholas, Larry Lamb, George Sampson, Cheryl Fergison and Marcus Collins.

Two of TV’s favourite pirates will also be making their pantomime debut together at the new Derby Arena. Instantly recognisable as the hopeless and loveable double-act Cook and Line, from the BAFTA nominated CBeebies Swashbuckle, Joseph Elliott and Richard David-Caine will be charged with picking up the comedy batons of PCs Ping and Pong in the spectacular pantomime Aladdin.
