We're pleased to announce a host of fantastic shows full of music to be performed in Derby this winter. With a variety of genres, there is a show to suit every music enthusiast in the next few months.

Oye Santana will bring the music of Carlos Santana to the Guildhall Theatre on Thursday 23 November at 8pm. With awesome guitar from Milan ‘Carlos’ Webb, as passionate and exciting as Santana himself, plus the band’s infectious good-time feel audiences will be singing, smiling and dancing along.

Buddy Holly and the Cricketers once again herald in the Yuletide festivities with Holly at Christmas, the show that is now as traditional as mulled wine and mince pies! Holly’s hits, other contemporary classics and some Christmas crackers are all wrapped up in a fast, furious and funny feast of entertainment to make the perfect gift for all the family. The band will be performing at the Guildhall Theatre on Friday 24 November at 7:30pm.

Stan Tracey CBE (1926-2013) was an outstanding figure in the jazz world. This year would have been Stan’s 90th birthday and to mark the occasion his son Clark has assembled the Stan Tracey Legacy Octet, celebrating the octet music of Stan Tracey and featuring members of his last ensemble. Derby Jazz will bring Clark Tracey – The Stan Tracey Legacy Octet to the Guildhall Theatre on Saturday 25 November at 8pm.

Martyn Joseph is as performer like no other. He's a jaw dropping guitar player who has developed a unique percussive style, teamed up with a powerful show stopping voice, and has been called “The Welsh Springsteen”. He will be performing at the Guildhall Theatre on Friday 19 January at 8pm.
