The best ever Darley Park Concert!

The Darley Park Concert 2015 Derby LIVE

Tue 8 Sep 2015

Our annual Darley Park Concert took place on Sun 6 Sep and was an all out success with approximately 35,000 of you attending the event! This is the largest audience the concert has attracted in its 25 year history.

The dedicated ones amongst you, began gathering on the hill from as early as 11:30am to secure the best views of the stage. Nicholas Owen returned to host the event and Sinfonia Viva were once again on top form for the evening. Audience members were also treated to our panto star Ritchie Neville who performed a fantastic rendition of Live and Let Die.

The audience were also treated to a great selection of music from various performers including local choir the Belle Ayres who spring from Landau Forte College and the Big Adventures choir.

The evening ended in traditionally spectacular fashion with fireworks during renditions of Barcelona, the Can-Can and Land of Hope and Glory.
