If you enjoy the unique sound of a four part harmony male voice choir you will love Let All Men Sing on Sat 14 Oct in the beautiful surroundings of Derby Cathedral with its wonderful acoustics.

The Dalesmen who are based at the Strutt Centre in Belper have reached their 30th Anniversary since being formed at Middleton by Wirksworth in 1987.

Intent on making this a special concert the Dalesmen have invited their friends the Mansfield and District Male Voice Choir and the St Edmundsbury Male Voice Choir from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Around one hundred and twenty voices will produce an amazing and unique sound which was last heard at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, at Bury St Edmunds, when the three choirs appeared in a combined concert in 2014.

Also featured in the concert will be local rising star eighteen year old Will Pearson from Hilton, who is a remarkable pianist and singer, very much in the style and avid fan of Jamie Cullum. Will was this year’s winner of the Dalesmen’s Musical Student of the Year competition and is continuing to engage audiences with his mature and professional performances well beyond his years.

The Concert is on Saturday 14th October at Derby Cathedral at 7.00 pm (doors open 6.30 pm) Any profit from the concert will be in aid of the Dalesmen’s adopted local charities, Treetops Hospice, Rainbows Children’s Hospice and Age UK Derby & Derbyshire.

Tickets are £12 available here
