Car Parking
Assembly Rooms & Guildhall Theatre
Both venues are located in Derby’s Market Place (see map).
There is a 214 space 'pay on foot' car park adjacent to The Assembly Rooms, sadly, this car park is not dedicated for sole use of the venue and on busy nights quickly becomes full. If you do wish to use this car park we do recommend you arrive early. You can also find a space at one of the many other car parks around the city centre.
Assembly Rooms - Car Park Closure
From Mon 23 Jan essential works will be carried out on the Assembly Rooms car park for 7 weeks. For the first two weeks there will be work being carried out on certain floors; which will leave the car park with reduced capacity for parking. However, there will still be some spaces available to customers.
From 6 Feb until 26 Feb, the car park will, unfortunately, be fully closed.
From 27 Feb until 12 Mar, there will be a further two weeks of working to complete the works. Again, the car park will be reduced in capacity during this period but there should be spaces for customer parking.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and we advise maybe arriving a little earlier if you wish to park in the car park during the works period (when the car park will have limited parking availability) and/or maybe consider parking elsewhere in the city.

Derby Theatre
Derby Theatre is located on Eagle Walk within Derby Westfield (see map).
The most convenient car park is Westfield Basement accessed from Traffic Street, however spaces are limited, so we advise you to leave plenty of time for finding a space at one of the many other car parks around the city centre.
