The Coffee Bar at The Assembly Rooms
There is a Coffee Bar is located on Level 2 of the Assembly Rooms, in the Great Hall Foyer.
Ideally situated for any shows taking place in the Great Hall, it is open before every show and also during the interval.
The Coffee Bar serves a variety of hot drinks from speciality coffees to herbal/fruit teas. It is always well stocked with cold drinks, from a variety of fizzy drinks, to Ribena & milkshakes for the younger patrons.
There is a large range of confectionery & snacks, including more healthy options.
There is a coffee bar located on the upper landing at The Guildhall Theatre, serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks before and during every show.
Bars at The Assembly Rooms
Eurest Catering runs three fully licensed bars within the Assembly Rooms. Interval drinks may be ordered at the bar prior to performances for collection at the interval.
The Concourse Bar is located on level 2 in the Great Hall Foyer, the Balcony Bar is also open for shows in the Great Hall.
The Darwin Bar is open for functions in the Darwin Suite.
The Guildhall Theatre Bar is open before, during and after performances at The Guildhall.
Pre-show Dining at the Assembly Rooms
Pre-show Dining is an exclusive facility for selected Great Hall shows at the Assembly Rooms and is held in the 45 Suite, with diners taking their seats in the restaurant an hour and a half before the show begins. The pre-show dining icon throughout our brochure denotes the shows where this service is available. Derby LIVE Box Office staff can also provide you with this information.
You can pre-order a two course meal from a set menu costing just £9.95, complementing your meal with a selection of reasonably priced wines from around the world. Pre-booked interval drinks can also be served at your table.
Pre-Show Dining is bookable through Derby LIVE Box Office, in advance, along with or after you have bought your ticket. A minimum of 4 days notice is required and early bookings are advisable to avoid disappointment.
