Postal Bookings
Send details of the show you wish to see with a cheque made payable to ‘Derby City Council’ and a stamped, addressed envelope to the address detailed and the tickets will be sent 14 days after receipt of your cheque. Postal requests received less than 14 days before the performance date will be held at the Derby LIVE Box Office for collection.
Payment
Both credit and debit cards are accepted for payment. Credit cards incur a £1 booking fee and postage will incur a charge of 50p. Other booking fees do apply for some selected shows. When collecting tickets the card used for payment must be seen.
Concessions & Discounts
For certain shows, concessions apply to under 16s, over 60s, job seekers, registered disabled people and full–time students. Proof is required. Please contact the Box Office.
Essential Companion Scheme
We now offer a free ticket to customers who need someone with them to assist with mobility or guidance. You need to apply to join the scheme (as an individual
or an organisation
). You can donwload an application forms or request one from the Box Office.
Special offers, discounts and concessions cannot be combined unless otherwise stated. We may from time to time offer tickets at prices other than those first advertised. It is not possible to include tickets already purchased in any future special offer.
Wheelchair Users
At present it isn't possible for wheelchair users to book their tickets using the online booking system. If you would like to make a booking and a member of your party is a wheelchair user, please call the Box Office on 01332 255800 or email us (boxoffice@derby.gov.uk) with your contact details and we'll get in touch with you to ensure that all of your needs are catered for.

Gift Vouchers and National Theatre Tokens
You can buy or use both Derby LIVE Gift Vouchers and National Theatre Tokens at the Box Office. Our Gift Vouchers are available in denominations of £5, £10 and £20. National Theatre Tokens are welcome at over 200 theatres nationwide, including all of London’s West End. Theatre Tokens are available in denominations of £1, £5, £10 and £20 and they have no expiry date.
Group Bookings
We welcome group bookings and we offer group discounts for many of our shows. Short–term block reservations can be made for group bookings. For bookings for 10 or more, please phone Box Office on 01332 255800 or email matt.clay@derby.gov.uk to reserve your seats.
Reservations, Resales and Refunds
Reservations can be made for all performances but can only be held for a period of 48 hours. The re–sale of any tickets purchased will be accepted at the discretion of the Box Office, tickets available take priority before returns are offered for sale. All tickets are non–returnable or refundable except in the event of a cancelled show.
Exchanges
If you cannot attend a performance for any reason, we will be happy to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same show for a flat fee of £1. Your original tickets must be returned to the box office at least 24 hours before the original performance booked.

In order to join our mailing list to receive all future information please advise the Box Office at the time of booking or log onto our website and complete the Request Brochure form.

Conditions of Sale
- Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded
- You must not use cameras or recording equipment during the performance
- All mobile phones and pagers must be turned off during the performance
- Latecomers will only be allowed into the venue during a suitable break in the performance,which may be the interval
- Patrons are admitted to the venue subject to the conditions of entry, which are available on request.
- Please Note: If you have purchased tickets through an agency, e.g. Ticketmaster, See Tickets or any other, and do not have them on the night, you will not be able to gain entry to the building.
