The Assembly Rooms attracts a large number of meetings, conferences and exhibitions every year from various organisations, such as the University of Derby, Thorntons, Rolls-Royce, Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce, the Arts Council, CAMRA Beer Festival, Tattoo Convention, Wedding and Job Fairs, Concerts and Dance Shows. The Darwin Suite offers a perfect setting for conferences, seminars, training sessions, dinners, exhibitions/trade fairs, concerts, parties. This room is a blank canvas and can be adapted to your own requirements.

Situated in the Westfield Centre, the Derby Theatre has a fixed, tiered seating capacity of 535 for concerts, shows and amateur productions.

A purpose-built modern theatre, the venue is light and airy with an on-site box office, toilets, coffee shop and bar.

The theatre has conference facilities for over 500 delegates in the main auditorium and flexible spaces for breakout sessions.

Guildhall Theatre

This Grade II listed building is the performance space for many of Derby's thriving amateur dramatic companies and local artists. The theatre has its own programme of drama, folk and jazz music and can be hired out for performances, lectures and concerts.guildhall

The Guildhall Theatre is situated opposite the Assembly Rooms and all administrative and Box Office functions take place at the Assembly Rooms.

The auditorium seats 244 (or 241 plus 3 wheelchair users).

The Large Clubroom can be used for small exhibitions/trade shows, CD/book fairs or can be used in conjunction with the auditorium as additional dressing room space.

The foyer space can be used for art exhibitions.

Wheelchair/disabled access to all areas except auditorium balcony.

Additional facilities include toilets, coffee shop and bar.
