Flutter & Fly

Join the fun and sing along in an exciting musical journey for children under 6!

Presented by composer and guitarist Jack Ross, accompanied by four Sinfonia Viva musicians, Flutter and Fly will feature original music written by Jack, as well as a host of orchestral favourites that will lift you up into the sky! Flitting birds, jet planes, a kite tied up with string – all of these will be imaginatively portrayed by the musicians and complemented by the wonderful illustrations of visual artist, Eleanor Meredith. Her stunning drawings and animation will be projected on screens around the band.

Each child will also be given a free book and CD of Flutter & Fly, allowing you to relive the magic over and over again!

The performance will take place in our new state-of-the-art inflatable venue, Cabinet of Curiosity, which will be set up on Derby Market Place in June.
