A bar serving a selection of draft beers, premixed spirits, mixers, wine and soft drinks will be on site throughout the weekend taking cash and card payments.
Will there be inflatables or a face painter at the events?
Yes, bouncy castles or inflatables, and a festival face painter on all three days who will be doing neon and normal face painting, glitter art, and body gems. * Additional charges may apply.
How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are on sale on the event page, or you can book in advance on 01332 255800 or in person at the Sales and Information Centre, Riverside Chambers, Derby, DE1 3AF. Advance phone and counter bookings are available until 4.30pm the day before. The Sales & Information Centre will be closed from 4.30pm on Thu 25 Aug 2022.
Tickets will be available to purchase on the day from two Box Office points at Darley Park. These will be sited near Darley Barn, near to the Cricket Club in Darley Abbey and near to the Rowing Club entrance to the park.
Where do I collect my tickets from?
If you have already bought tickets and they need to be collected from us, we strongly recommend collecting in advance of the day of the concert, from the Sales and Information Centre, Riverside Chambers, Derby, DE1 3AF. Opening times are Monday-Friday 9am-4.30pm.
The Box office will open at Darley Park as follows
• Fri 26 Aug 3pm to 9pm. Web sales for Classic Ibiza will stop at 5pm
• Sat 27 Aug 3pm to 9pm. Web sales for 80s Mix tape will stop at 3.30pm
• Sun 28 Aug 1pm to 8:45pm. Web sales for the concert will stop at 5pm
Tickets will be available to be collected and purchased on the day as you arrive at Darley Park. Please bear in mind there may be queues to collect/purchase tickets on the day of the concert.
Will there be filming and photography?
Yes, please let a member of staff know if you object to the future use of an image or video that features you.

Where can I park?
We recommend you walk to the concert or use public transport to get to the park.
Car parking for the event is available at Chapel Street and the Assembly Rooms car park sites. 24-hour parking is available for £4 which is payable on exit with cash or card. For directions to both car parks please scan the attached QR codes.

Use the MiPermit app to get £4 parking on all city centre streets between 2pm-8pm Fri-Sat and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Pre-book and choose the Event Parking option of Darley Park Weekender to book.

Car parking at St Benedicts Catholic Voluntary Academy 12pm- 10.30pm, will be available on a first come first serve basis for £5 cash only.
There is also limited parking available at Darley Village near the Cricket Club for Blue Badge Holders 12pm-11pm.
There will be two bicycle parks located outside the event area, close to each entrance.
What time can I arrive and can I leave the event and come back?
- On Fri 26 Aug for Classic Ibiza - gates will open at 4pm.
- On Sat 27 Aug for 80s Mix Tape - gates will open at 4pm.
- On Sun 28 Aug for The Darley Park Concert - gates will open at 2pm and close at 8:30pm.
No access will be granted into the event without a ticket. There will be no admittance to the event after 9pm.
You will be able to leave the event area but re-entry will be with ticket only. When you leave, you must get your ticket "checked out" and you will be able to use the same ticket when you return. You will be required to go through a search procedure again.
How do I get into event and what security measures are in place?
There will be two entrances, one located at the Rowing Club end of the park, the other at Darley Abbey Village end of the park. These will be located after the box office points, should you wish to purchase tickets on the day.
We respectfully ask for your cooperation on bag searches and approaches from security personnel to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. Bag searches will be in place after the ticket check at the gates. There will also be a dedicated lane for those wishing to leave the event area. Re-entry will be with ticket only and you will be required to go through a search procedure again.
Are there toilets on-site?
Yes, there are toilets on both sides of the site. Baby changing facilities are located inside the accessible toilets.

Am I allowed to bring my own food and drink?
We know that you love to bring a picnic for the concert, so food and drink are allowed. Please check the list of what items are not allowed for additional guidance.
There will be a range of catering units on site for those who wish to purchase food and drinks.
Am I allowed to bring alcohol?
Yes, alcohol is permitted. There will be a bar on site serving alcoholic and soft drinks.
Can I bring bottles/glass?
Yes you can, but please bring plastic where possible. We request that all waste is deposited in the appropriate bins.
Can I bring my own seats?
Yes you can.
Is there anything else I should bring?
We recommend you wear sensible shoes, warm clothes and bring waterproofs with you. The grass can become slippery in bad weather.
Will I need a torch?
We will light the entrances and exits, but it is always useful to bring additional lighting.
What items are not allowed into the concert?
For your comfort and safety and that of other concert goers, we’d ask that you do not bring any of the following into the event area.
Bag searches will be in place and you will be asked to take any prohibited item(s) back to your car or allow them to be disposed of. We are unable to return any items left at the entrances.

Can I bring my dog with me?
No. dogs are not allowed on site due to the nature of the event, only registered assistance and guide dogs will be allowed. It is recommended if your dog is afraid of fireworks, that they leave before this time (approximately 9:15pm).
Will there be an Accessible Viewing Area?

Yes, there will be an accessible viewing area located just off centre of the stage/stage right, audience left as you look at the stage. All performances will have a British Sign Language interpreter positioned stage right. If you would like to make use of this facility, we strongly advise you sit in the Accessible Viewing Area.
What happens if I lose my ticket?
If you lose your ticket you will need to purchase a new ticket.
Will the event be cancelled due to bad weather?
No, not unless we are advised that health and safety is at risk.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
No, when you buy your tickets we will not refund your money. Please read our terms and conditions fully prior to purchasing.
Is Darley Park open to the public prior to the event?
Yes, but if you are in the event area of the park 1 hour prior to the gates opening, you will be asked to vacate this area. If you have a ticket for the event, or wish to purchase one, you will then be able to re-enter the event area once the gates are open.
Will the Darley Park Terrace Café be open on the day of the events?
The café will be open.
Will there be any road closures I need to know about?
Darley Park Drive car park will be closed from 8 am to midnight (resident-only access - marshalled by stewards) - Fri 26 to Sun 28 Aug
Bank View Road, Poplar Row, Abbey Yard, and Darley Park Drive will be closed from 8 am to midnight (resident-only access) - Fri 26 to Sun 28 Aug
Penny Long Lane, Folly Road, and Weirfield Road will be closed from 8 am to midnight (resident-only access - to be controlled by residents themselves) - Fri 26 to Sun 28 Aug
No waiting will apply on the following streets, where cones will be used to prohibit parking
- 26 to 28 Aug - Duffield Road and around Darley Village
- Until 1 Sep - Junction of North Parade and Edward St, North Parade opposite North St, Junction North St and North Parade, Junction of Margaret St and North Parade, Darley Grove both sides.
In addition, one-way systems will be implemented on the following streets between 8:30 pm and midnight on Fri 26 to Sun 28 Aug to improve the flow of traffic exiting from the events: Mile Ash Lane, Old Lane (one way from the junction with Darley Street to Darley Mills), Haslams Lane (one way from Darley Mills to Derby Rugby Club)
During the period 8:30 pm to midnight Fri 23 to Sun 28 Aug, traffic will not be able to access Darley Abbey Village from the Mile Ash Lane entry at the junction with Duffield Road (A6). During this same period, traffic exiting from Darley Abbey Village on Mile Ash Lane will only be able to turn left, not right, onto Duffield Road (A6).
