You can find more information about our access services and provision on the main Derby LIVE Access page. Below is access information specific to The Darley Park Weekender.
Wheelchair viewing platform
A raised platform with a prime view of the stage. It has ramped access and a charging point for power wheelchairs.
Tickets for this area can be booked when buying your event ticket, or contact the Sales and Information Centre to add to your order.
As the viewing platform has a limited capacity, this is strictly for customers who are wheelchair users and for one companion. If you have several people attending the event with you, you can swap your PA/Companion access to the viewing platform throughout the event.
Ask a member of the check-in team how this works when you collect your wristbands at the event.
We operate viewing platform on a first come, first served basis. Whilst we try to make sure that we have sufficient space for everyone, demand varies, so there may be a wait as we operate a 1-in-1-out policy when at capacity.
The platform is a NO SMOKING area, this includes e-cigarettes and vapes.
Accessible viewing area
Situated directly in front of the Wheelchair viewing platform.
Tickets for this area can be booked when buying your event ticket, or contact the Sales and Information Centre to add to your order.
This area is for disabled customers and their companion, who would struggle in the main area.
Companions are welcome to use the seating in the viewing area unless a disabled customer needs a seat, however you can bring and use your own seat if there is space
The accessible viewing area is not on the raised platform, but has level access, and is near the accessible toilets.
This area is a NO SMOKING area, this includes e-cigarettes and vapes.
Accessible toilets
Accessible toilets and standard toilets are located at the rear of the accessible viewing platform and at the main toilet blocks. There will also be a Mobiloo at this event.

Charging point
A charging point for power wheelchair batteries and other access equipment is available at the Wheelchair viewing platform.

The team will then provide access to the accessible drop off point which is located approximately 700m from the accessible event entrance, reached via a hard-standing pathway.
