Twelfth Night
By William Shakespeare
Tue 8 - Sat 12 Mar 2016
Guildhall Theatre
Running Time: 2 hours 30 minutes - approximate, including any interval(s).
About the Event
A comedy in which illusion and delusion mix in a world of hope and love; if you live with your head in the clouds, strange things can happen.
A comedy of the bitter sweet, a comedy of the melancholic, a comedy of sadness. Illusion and delusion mix in a heady atmosphere of a lost world, as it hurtles toward a desperate finale.
Washed up on the shores of Illyria, Viola disguises herself as a boy in order to find a way home and to discover the fate of her presumed drowned brother.
On her journey she discovers a world of disguise and deception. A world where you may not be who you say you are. A world of hopes and of love, but as she discovers, if you live with your head in the clouds, strange things are bound to happen.
