Make this Easter Holidays a winner with fantastic family activities and events across Derby

In Derby has plenty to offer families this Easter Holidays, from an Easter Egg Hunt adventure at Markeaton Park to Family Track Cycling sessions at Derby Arena. There’s bound to be something for everyone!

All throughout the Easter Holidays, from Saturday 13 to Sunday 28 April families can complete the Easter Egg Hunt Trail at Markeaton Park. Easter Egg Hunt Trail worksheets will be available from the Mundy Play Centre Kiosk, and families can be in for a chance of winning Mundy Play Centre vouchers!

Experience powerful storytelling, captivating puppetry, beautiful design, enchanting music, and a sprinkling of magic this Easter, with The Selfish Giant at Dèda. On Tuesday 16 April at 2pm Soap Soup Theatre and Tessa Bide Productions will be bringing the story of The Selfish Giant to families in Derby.

Take the time to try something new this Easter with a Family Track cycling session at Derby Arena. For anyone aged 9 years and above, these sessions are the perfect chance to give this exciting sport a go! If track cycling isn’t the one, families can take advantage of Derby Arena’s half price racket sports and book a game of table tennis or badminton.

Water lovers will have a great time this Easter at Queen’s Leisure Centre with Family Splash sessions and Atlantis Splash Run. Families can save money this holiday as a family of 4 can swim for just £9.50 in Family Splash sessions. Anyone ready for a challenge can take on the Atlantis Splash Run inflatable challenge where they must take on giant obstacles and thrill seeking slides to win the race!

Keep kids active during Easter at Springwood Leisure Centre with Ninja Warrior style circuit sessions. The fun and challenging obstacle course for ages 5 to 12 years will keep children entertained and active during the holidays. Parents can bring their little ones along for a fun session on the Bouncy Castle and Soft Play, for children aged 0 to 6 years.

The party is coming to Springwood this Easter with Disco Fever! Under 12s can come along and dance to their favourite songs on Monday 15 April, kicking off the holidays in style. Kids with a competitive streak will love Springwood’s Dodgeball sessions both Wednesdays during the holidays.

As the weather gets brighter there’s no better place to be than a park, and Derby Parks have plenty of great activities for this Easter Holidays! Skyline at Markeaton Park will be reopening in time for the Easter Holidays, so families can take on the new and improved tree-top adventure high ropes in the beautiful surroundings of Markeaton Park.

Mundy Play Centre will have plenty of activities for the whole family this Easter, with pay and play activities such as Pitch and Putt, Footgolf, Canoes and the Bouncy Castle as well as the fun-filled play area including The Adventure Galley pirate ship!
