Event Road Closures

Road Closures in Derby City Centre Derby LIVE

If you wish to close a road for your event, be it a street party, parade or sporting event you will need to apply for a Road Closure Order.

Applications for road closures need to be submitted no less than eight weeks prior to the event. There is no fee for a Road Closure Order.

Please note - If your application is considered an event, appropriate charges will be applied.

The Event Road Closures application form and supporting documents should be returned via e-mail to roadclosurerequest@derby.gov.uk

Please note that your Road Closure request has not been approved to take place until you receive your signed and sealed Road Closure Order. Therefore we advise against booking anything to support your Road Closure or promoting it until this point.
