Markets and Fairs this Jul!
Mon 7 Jul 2014
We're officially into summer and the sun is shining (fingers crossed it stays that way for a while!) so what better way to spend a lunch hour than a wonder around the city to visit one of our upcoming markets?
First of all, from Wed 9 - Sat 12 Jul the Italian Market comes to East Street to bring a mouth-watering selection of authentic Italian cusine to tempt your taste buds. From fresh breads to salami, nuts to olives and Italian sweets, a variety of what you would expect to find in Italy will be available.
On Thu 17 Jul, our monthly Farmers' Market returns to the Market Place and is packed full of local companies selling homegrown produce and will be open from 8am - 2pm. Take home a loaf of freshly baked bread, treat yourself to an irresistable cake or try something different with an exotic twist as buffallo, ostrich, kangaroo and crocodile are on the menu.
Whilst you're visiting the Farmers' Market, why not take a trip to the Arts and Crafts Fair on East Street from Thu 17 - Sat 19 Jul. The perfect place to find unique gifts, the market offers a range of goods all made by registered artisans. You can find fabrics, cushions, jewellery, cards and much more.
If you can't make the markets this Jul, they will be back on the following dates;
Farmers' Market - every third Thu of the month
Italian Market - Wed 10 - Sat 13 Sep and Wed 12 - Sat 15 Nov
Arts and Craft Fair - Fri 3 - Sun 5 Oct and Thu 6 - Sat 8 Nov
