Bloody Mary is a new play written by George Gunby and directed by Sue Reaney.
The Tudors... the very words evoke images of love and lust, deceipt and subterfuge, torture and execution. Having deposed Lady Jane Grey, Mary Tudor became the first Queen Regnant of England. Her five year reign was filled with plot and rebellion on all sides as she fought to restore Catholicism and prevent her sister taking the throne. During her reign 284 people were executed. Mainly by burning.......
