About the Event
Celebrate the 40th year of the Derby Caribbean Carnival with the carnival troupe's street procession on Sat 18 Jul and the family fun day at Osmaston Park on Sun 19 Jul.
Sat 18 Jul
1pm - procession down Pear Tree Road and Normanton Road into the City Centre Market Place
3pm - Costume competition and stage show in the Market Place until 6pm
Sun 19 Jul
12noon till 9pm - Official opening and stage show at Osmaston park
