Come and Sing with the Cathedral Choir

All singers are invited to join Derby Cathedral's Voluntary Choir for an open rehearsal and performance of Maurice Duruflé’s sublime setting of the Requiem mass, in the wonderful acoustic of Derby Cathedral and with Hugh Morris accompanying on the exciting and colourful Compton Organ. The Choir’s new director, Edward Turner, will conduct the work, beginning at 10.00am with registration and workshops, culminating in an afternoon performance at 4.00pm. Lunch will not be provided, but the Cathedral Café will be open. Entrance to the performance will be free, with retiring collection. It is essential that you register for this event as places are limited.
Concessions are typically available to over 60s, under 16s, students, unemployed and disabled people. Click through to Buy Tickets for individual prices and availability. Please note that proof may be required on collection of tickets or on entry to the auditorium.
