Derby Folk Festival Food and Drink 2018

Being right in the city centre, there are a whole host of places where you can find some fantastic food and drink options. These range from grabbing a quick snack in a fast food outlet, to having a great meal... all within a few minutes walk of all of the venues, including: 

Real Ale (and most other beverages if you prefer) will be served from bars located next to the City Marquee, and also from the Guildhall Theatre, with a delicious selection of ales (including a gorgeous Festival Ale!) from Thornbridge Brewery.

The Guildhall Theatre’s neighbours, The Acropolis Cafe, have agreed to stay open much later than usual in order to keep you all served with some great meals!

The Old Bell Hotel features a variety of bars, all with a great selection of beers (and single malt if that’s your thing!) – The Tudor Bar is open to all, with the former being our main session venue.

As well as that, a small selection of festival specific caterers will be on-site in the Market Place.

OOH LA LAA CREPES Freshly cooked to order in a vintage French van and using only the very best ingredients, their delicious homemade crêpes are generously topped with anything your heart desires from an extensive menu.

THE TOASTIE CLUB creating food that makes your belly happy! A great menu of freshly prepared toasties, crammed with flavour, oozing with a range of carefully selected cheeses and served between two tasty slices of locally-sourced sourdough bread.

THE WONKY TABLE provide food with heart and soul using locally sourced produce. With a restaurant in Sadler Gate, they will have a pop up stall on the Market Place serving delightful food throughout the festival.
