Artist infomation
The Public Eye
The Public Eye are a Derby-born indie/alt-rock band formed in 2021, made up of Joey Greener, Jonah Radford, Cavan Brady, Zack Bednall and Charlie Royle. Influenced early on by The Strokes and Bloc Party, and now inspired by the likes of Fontaines D.C. and The Night Café, they’ve carved out a raw, evolving sound that stands firmly on its own. With the weight of Derby’s often-overlooked music scene behind them, The Public Eye have become a standout representation of the city’s rising talent. Their latest EP, Éternel Romantique, is a tender exploration of love in all its forms. Drawing inspiration from George Orwell’s 1984, Snapchat culture and the hazy world of afterparties, the five-track collection dives into the complexities of connection in young adulthood. The EP has already surpassed 110,,000 streams and received strong support from BBC Introducing. The band have also supported The Reytons, The Mercians, The Manatees and Kelsy Karter & The Heroines, with festival appearances at Isle of Wight and Y Not.
Shadows of a Silhouette
Shadows of a Silhouette are a raw and unapologetic alternative rock band from Alfreton, Derbyshire. Blending the grit of grunge with the power of modern alt rock, their sound is a reflection of their working-class roots; honest, bold, and built to hit hard.Their debut LP, For Those That Know..., recorded at the legendary Motor Museum in Liverpool with acclaimed producer Al Groves (Bring Me the Horizon, Cast), marks them as a serious force in the UK’s alt scene, but it's on stage where they truly come alive.Known for electric, high-energy live shows, the band had played the Main Stage at Y Not Festival and headlined the Hog and Barrel Stage in 2024. Their sold out headline Dubrek Studios show in Derby in September 2025 is proof of their growing, loyal following.
Leah Wilcox
Midland's own Leah Wilcox is a gritty glitterball of a songwriter. A mix of dark romance, fun and quirk, she shares songs of love and the female experience in her unique Indie Pop-rock style. Starting at open mics at 15, Leah began borrowing equipment from school for pub gigs until she could buy her first acoustic guitar. Now, at 21, Leah's hazy sound is rooted in an Indie Americana landscape she likes to call 'Countrygaze-Pop', drawing on 70s sounds to share her journey through life. Alongside her sparkling band she dotingly nicknames 'her chikas' expect a set with edge, dashes of choreography, elegance, and energy.
Recently featuring on BBC Radio with her new releases and making major appearances at festivals like TRUCK Festival, YNOT, Splendour, The Great Escape, Leestock, the SXSWL Roadshow and Moseley Folk & Arts Festival, Leah's sound is an amalgamation of artists like CMAT, Slow Pulp, Lola Young, Bôa, Fleetwood Mac, Wunderhorse, Big Thief.
The Last Orders
From the rolling hills of Derbyshire emerges The Last Orders, a powerhouse of indie rock and punk that's as raw as it is electrifying.
Drawing influence from legendary bands like The Stone Roses, The Sex Pistols, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, The Jam, and Led Zeppelin, they craft a sound that's equal parts melodic and rebellious. With a striking mod-punk aesthetic and a fiery live presence, their music captures the essence of British rock's golden eras while driving it boldly into the future. Every performance is a visceral experience— gritty, passionate, and unapologetically authentic.
Daisy Peacock
Daisy Peacock is a rising indie pop artist bringing a fresh burst of fun, wit, and heartfelt honesty to the UK music scene. Bursting onto the scene with her debut single 'You Don't Want Me Enough', Daisy earnt herself top 10 spots in both Song Academy's Young Songwriter Competition 2024 and Citrus Records' Songs of the Year list. Hailed by Bruadarach Music as "early Taylor Swift vibes, but with a super fresh, exciting edge," Daisy is quickly becoming one to watch. Her music blends catchy melodies with clever, emotionally charged lyrics— perfect for fans of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Nieve Ella. Whether performing solo, where her sharp lyricism shines, or fronting a full band, Daisy brings an infectious energy to the stage- turning a generation's frustrations into music you can't help but dance- and laugh- along to.
