About the Event

Following on from their sell-out production of Our House last year at the Guildhall, DYMT return for their second production; the highly popular musical Grease.

Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959 – meet the Burger Palace Boys and their gum-snapping Pink Ladies as they take you on a roller-coaster ride through the sound of the 1950s. Head ‘greaser’ Danny Zuko and the new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their Summer Nights as the rest of the gang sing and dance their way through such songs as Greased Lightnin’, Hopelessly Devoted, You’re the One that I Want and many others.

Grease is the original High School Musical and has had numerous revivals and productions across the globe making it one of the world’s most popular musicals.

Over thirty local teenagers bring this fast moving show to the Guildhall so cast off those post summer blues and hand-jive the night away at the most electrifyin’ show in town.
