Hats off to Laurel and Hardy is the third production from professional Guildford-based theatre company Lucky Dog Theatre Productions.

Hats Off To Laurel & Hardy is about the most famous comedy duo of all time and is the most accurate stage show about them to date. The play recounts their early lives, their fledgling careers, their meteoric rise to fame and their final international tours. Lucky Dog promise an evening of laughter that will finally break your heart. Besides recreations of their films, you can expect some singing and questionable dancing – and go home a little wiser than Stan and Ollie.

It has been on tour since Sep 2013 and was performed at the international Laurel & Hardy Convention in Hollywood in Jul 2014. This accurate and moving account of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy’s lives and careers has made various world-renowned Laurel & Hardy experts state it is the closest portrayals to the actual people they have ever seen. Having played to full houses and standing ovations nationwide, Lucky Dog have gathered over a dozen five-star reviews from the industry.
