Jenson Button Trust Triathlon
After two amazing years the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon is back in Derby for a third year.
Markeaton Park will play host to the swim and run sections with the bike route taking athletes through Five Lamps and into the Cathedral Quarter.
The event village on Markeaton Park offers those not competing the chance to enjoy a great family day out with food, drink and shopping as well as the races to watch.
Come and join in with a day unlike any other in Derby’s calendar.
Official car parks for the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon are:
- Mundy Centre Car Park and Craft Village Car Park (DE22 1GB) - £4.40 per day
- University of Derby (DE22 1GB) - no charge
- Kingsway Barracks (DE22 3FJ) - no charge
Spectator and general public parking is very limited so we would advise parking in the city centre and getting to the park via bus, bike or foot.
Make sure to check out the event information page on the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon website for more information about car parking and the event in general.
To facilitate and support the safety of the event and it’s participants there will be road closures in place in the surrounding area between 08:45 – 16:30.
For more information please visit the Jenson Button Triathlon website.
If you are intending on coming to the event or to the park on Sunday , we would encourage where possible the use of public transport and walking, due to the very limited car parking available.
If you require more information on the event and it’s road closures please e mail firstname.lastname@example.org
