Jesus Jones formed at the end of 1988, and quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting and innovative acts of their time. They were one of the first bands to successfully blend rock and dance music.

Their second album Doubt entered the UK charts at number one, and went gold. The album sold over a million copies in America and was driven by the single Right Here, Right Now, that went to number 1. Doubt also saw singles International Bright Young Thing, and Who? Where? Why? released. Their success saw them named Best New Act at the MTV Awards.

After nearly three decades together, Jesus Jones are still enjoying performing together. Lead singer Mike Edwards: “it may be a bit of a cliché to say we do it for fun now, but it couldn’t be more apt – we’ve been friends and band mates for so long, that it just feels right, being onstage, all of us together, playing the songs that have shaped our lives – It’s a fantastic feeling!”
