About the Event

This event is promoted by Derby Museums, Derby LIVE are pleased to act as a ticket agent.

Begin the evening with a warming glass of mulled wine whilst listening to a local primary school choir singing favourite festive carols.
Enjoy a traditional three course meal prepared by local celebrity chef Ralph Skripek where all ingredients will be fresh from farms around Derbyshire.
We not only want you to have a fantastic time, but we also want to serve fantastic food!

Derbyshire Harti ngton Stilton & Wild Mushroom Tartlet
A warm home made shortcrust pastry tart filled with local Hartington Stilton and wild mushrooms,
served with a rocket salad drizzled with Bakewell Brock & Morten smoked rapeseed oil & balsamic glaze

Home made Duck Liver Parfait
Smooth duck liver parfait with sherry, served with tossed leaves, redcurrants and a
blackberry dressing, finished with a stack of melba toast and caramelised red onion chutney

Local Derbyshire Turkey
Traditi onal curls of roast turkey, served with thyme roasted potatoes, home made sage stuffing,
a quenelle of apple and cider sausage-meat and a rich gravy stock sauce
Or
Carsington Trout Fillet
A boneless fillet of rod caught Carsington trout served on sauteed curly kale and sweet
potato puree, surrounded with a dill, white wine and cream sauce
Or
(V) Filled Roasted Aubergine
Aubergine sliced and filled with mixed beans & couscous, topped with cranberry and
Wensleydale cheese with assorted nuts, and fi nished on a clear lentil stock sauce

Above main courses served with Butler’s braised red cabbage, roasted honey and
mustard seed parsnips, sauteed brussel sprouts with shallots and rosemary
