About the Event

Join us for our Jubilee celebrations

Along with over 1,500 other locations across the UK, Derby will light a beacon on Cathedral Green in tribute to Her Majesty the Queen.

A lone piper will play Diu Regnare at 9.35pm, followed by a specially written bugle call at 9.40pm, before the beacon is lit at 9.45pm accompanied by a choir singing Song for the Commonwealth.

We hope you will join us for a rousing ceremony and then be mesmerized by our atmospheric fire trail, created by Walk the Plank, up until 11pm.
