About the Event
Ray has a career that has covered TV, acting, dancing, theatre, and singing. This has given him the base to focus on his passion; singing and being on the stage.
It has been announced that Ray Quinn has joined the cast of Judy - The Songbook of Judy Garland, which unfortunately means he has to postpone a number of his June dates. He will now be appearing on Sun 11 Oct 2015
It's taken this amount of time because it's all about timing and Ray, at the age of 25, is at the right time to compete at the very top. Rays up and coming album will surprise many with original and re-arranged swing songs produced by outstanding producer and bass player David Finck who has worked with George Michael, Elton John and Rod Stewart. The album includes collaborations with Matt Goss, who has his very own swing night in Vegas, and tracks written with 70s icon Linda Lewis.
Prior to this Ray was the runner up in The X Factor in 2006, and participated in arena tours all over the country. He then continued on to have a Platinum selling album Doing It My Way followed by a sell-out UK solo tour. He went on to win the 2009 series of Dancing on Ice and in 2014 was crowned Champion of Champions in the final of the very last series.
Ray has performaned in theatre shows including Dirty Dancing, Legally Blonde the Musical and The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.
