Derby Cathedral’s hugely popular Twilights season of concerts returns with Tedesca Quartet.

Join Tedesca Quartet for an evening of inspiring and moving melodies that will leave you humming the tunes for days afterwards.
Started in 2011, the quartet has developed a deserved reputation for given performances of rousing integrity and maturity. As such, the quartet is in increasing demand throughout the country for their wonderful concerts and so now is the perfect time to experience one their wonderful shows.
Playing with skill and superbly poised musical pizazz, the quartet will perform stirring renditions of Dvorak’s Three Cypresses, with the quartet performing numbers 7, 1 and 11 of these emotive love songs.
This will be followed by Martinu’s stirringly beautiful String Quartet No.7, before the concert comes to rapturous end with Dvorak’s String Quartet Op.51 in Eb, a favourite for string quartets around the world.
This concert is part of the Twilights series, where Derby Cathedral and Sinfonia Viva present the highest quality live music, in the grandest of settings.
