About the Event

Ashrow Theatre return to the Guildhall following a successful festival tour with this punchy, pertinent and striking production.

Character-led drama Troublesome People by Jill Haas examines the Second World War through the eyes of conscientious objectors, Jewish refugees and farmers all working on the Isle of Man.

With a cast of seven, this new piece of writing explores the courage and bravery required by everyone during World War II and highlights the plight of these individuals surviving on the periphery of a global war, whether by choice or circumstance.

Jill Haas is a prize-winning American author now resident in the UK.

Please note; the matinee performance for this event has changed from 2pm to 2:30pm. The matinee performance will now begin at 2:30pm
