For those looking for something with a bit more of a ‘feel-good’ factor Belper Musical Theatre’s amateur production of Sister Act is guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s faces. This feel-good, gospel-filled musical comedy, based on the 1992 film, is presented by the award winning Belper Musical Theatre and tells the story of disco diva Deloris Van Cartier and her convent hide-out.

Give the gift of music with tickets to see some of Derby LIVE’s wonderful music shows on this year. On Wednesday 21 February enjoy the engaging and unpredictable music of Martin Harley and Daniel Kimbro, watch as they push the boundaries of blues, folk and American roots music. 

Fans of folk can also see winner of the BBC Radio 2 Horizon award, Sam Kelly performing with his band The Lost Boys on Saturday 3 March. The haunting harmonies, soaring tunes and melodies, charming anecdotes, instrumental performances of the highest calibre, and Sam’s unmistakable vocals will make this a night for any couple to remember.
