Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved one in the exquisite surrounds of one of the country’s finest stately homes.

Sensuous cello playing and a fire-lit meal in the sumptuous Caesars’ Hall before journeying through part of the ground floor of the house to witness the intimate drama of the first meeting between those two great romantic poets and rakish lovers, Byron and Shelley.

Glass of prosecco or juice on arrival (Additional drinks to be paid for)


Tomato & basil soup served with bloomer bread

Salmon rillettes served with dressed salad leaves and toasted bloomer bread


Chicken breast in a tarragon and cream sauce

Mushroom, sage & cheese tart

Both served with mini garlic roast potatoes, red cabbage & fine green beans


Vanilla crème brulee with butter shortbread heart

Spiced poached pear with clotted cream & butter shortbread heart

Coffee to end
