Guided by the enigmatic Officer O’Brien, you’ll witness the interrogation of Winston Smith and face the ultimate question: will you uphold the Party’s rules, or dare to resist? This bold adaptation blurs the boundaries between performer and spectator, challenging you to question surveillance, freedom, and your own beliefs.

Alongside the performance, discover a unique exhibition created in collaboration with Derby’s schools and art groups. Developed by local students and artists, the exhibition explores themes of surveillance, freedom, and resistance, offering fresh perspectives on Orwell’s classic and connecting its message to the experiences of young people today.
