About the Event

Best-selling 1908 novel and classic coming of age story is brought to life in a new and enchanting stage production for the whole family.

Young, redheaded orphan Anne Shirley is sent to Green Gables by mistake. Marilla and her brother Matthew Cuthbert had intended to adopt a boy to help on the farm, so when a spirited girl arrives they don't know what to think.

Soon the Cuthberts and the village community of Avonlea grow fond of Anne despite her constant chatter, mishaps and fiery temper.

Life will never be the same again...

Story Club Writing workshop

Tickets are free, but limited, pre-booked to guarantee a place. (Parents don't need a ticket, just the children who are participating).

Monday evening offers FREE post-show talk, Carrots! on the theme of red hair and identity (open to everyone).

Tuesday and Wednesday matinees offer FREE post-show creative writing workshop, Story Club (for ages 7-11, maximum of 20 per workshop).
