About the event

Climb the 189 steps and see Derby like never before from the top of Derby Cathedral’s 212-foot high Tudor tower. See the Smith of Derby carillon play its midday tune on the oldest working set of ten bells in the world and explore the history of the second highest bell tower in the UK!

Standard tours include a free drink from the Cathedral Café if visiting on the day of your tour.

 PLEASE NOTE: Due to Health and Safety children under 8 are not allowed on the tour.  Children 8-16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Special Tours

Sunset Tour 

Witness the breath taking views of the sun setting from the west of the tower. A truly unique and unforgettable experience that you can share with your loved ones.

Awaiting you after your climb to the top of the tower will be a glass of Prosecco for you to enjoy while taking in the view. 

 

Bonfire Night

Enjoy hot chocolate and mulled wine at the top of the tower whilst you see the city landscape at night.
