About the event

Following the fantastic success of the 2016 festival, Derby Folk Festival returns to take over the city once again in 2017 with another exciting list of performers.

This will be the 11th year that we’ve held the festival right in the centre of Derby, and we’re really pleased with the way the festival has become embedded in the city's events calendar. We have a great location, right in the centre of the country, fabulous acts, and a super-friendly atmosphere. If you've not been before then we'd love you to come and join us.

The 11th Derby Folk Festival takes place from Fri 6 to Sun 8 Oct 2017.

Events will run in the City Marquee on the Market Place, in the Guildhall Theatre, The Old Bell Hotel and Derby Cathedral throughout the weekend. As well as ticketed concerts and events, there will be dance displays throughout the streets, and free music performances during Saturday and Sunday as part of the ever-expanding fringe.

Early Bird prices apply up to 31 July, and prices will be even lower than shown – discounts will appear once tickets are updated in your basket.
