When Gyles Brandreth set out to find the secret of 'How to be Happy' he ended up in the psychiatrist's chair - with Dr Anthony Clare. What the great man taught him about the nature of happiness and exactly who gets to be happy and how - plus other useful lessons picked up along life's way (from Freud, Frankie Howerd, and The Queen among others) - provide the essence of a unique one-man show that should make you laugh and could change your life.

Gyles Brandreth is best known as a reporter on The One Show on BBC1 and a regular on Radio 4's Just a Minute. Recently he has appeared on QI, Countdown, The Matt Lucas Awards Show, Have I Got News For You and Desert Island Discs.
