Formed in 1993 the Manchester group picking up praise and accolades from the likes of Johnny Marr, Morrissey, Radiohead, Courtney Love and many more artists and critics. The group released their debut UK Top 10 selling album 'This World and Body' in 1996, followed by Johnny Marr produced album 'The Program' in 1998, before their untimely split in 1999. The group reunited to sell out shows since and are heading to Derby in October.

Due to original Marion guitarist Phil Cunningham's uncompromising New Order commitments, Marion's singer/songwriter Jaime Harding has, with Phil's blessing, has put together a younger, more vibrant gang of musicians that tear along under his voice like starving northern whippets. The group members comprise of Blair Murray (Twisted Wheel), Andrew Tarling (Tom Hingley and The Lovers) and Andy McKerlie (Des Horsfall's Kuschty Rye).
