Ramathon

About the Event

Building on the success of the previous three years, Ramathon is returning even bigger and better for 2017 with 5,000 places on offer.

Entries now open!

Whether chasing a personal best, attempting a race for the first time, or fundraising for a worthy cause, Ramathon welcomes runners of all abilities whatever the aim.

With live entertainment and thousands of spectators set to line the course, runners will be cheered on to the finish line to receive an official Ramathon medal and finishers’ t-shirt.

Having firmly made its mark as Derby’s premier annual running event, runners will, once again gather in the city to take part in this unique and fast growing race, which will start and finish at the home of the Rams: Derby County’s iPro Stadium. Derby County Football Club will be race partner for a third year.

Taking in the bustle of the city centre and the scenic grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park, Ramathon is one of the flattest half marathon courses in the country, providing runners with the potential to achieve a personal best.

In addition to the main race, children and families can compete in the Mini Ramathon fun run.
