About the event

Russian born Sergei Podobedov is a remarkable pianist who has made his home in Belper. Throughout 2019 he has played sell out concerts in Derbyshire. Sergei will play his last concert in Belper on 12 October.

A graduate of the Moscow Central School of Music, the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Royal College of Music, Sergei was the youngest winner of the Edward Boyle Award in London.

The evening will feature music by, amongst others, Chopin, Schumann and Beethoven plus a special performance of John Cage's 4' 33”
