Filming submissions for St George's Day Celebrations
Inspired by our How to make a Dragon for St George's Day and A Mummers' Play for St George's Day guides? We'd love it if you send us your version to be a part of the St George’s Day Celebrations at Home.
Here are a few tips to film making your dragon for the St. George’s Day online event. We can accept your clips up to Fri 16 Apr 2021. The form to submit is at the bottom of this page.
Our top tips for filming
- Make sure you have read all of the notes below and agree with the T&C’s written
- Position yourself in a well-lit room, ensuring that you are not in front of a window or light source. If possible, try to have a plain background.

- Make sure the room is quiet, have the TV off and your phone on silent.
- Let other members of your household know what you are doing so you don’t get interrupted.
- Change the settings on your device to film at 1080p. 1920 x 1080 HD

iOS (e.g. iPhone)

Android device
- If recording on your phone or tablet, make sure you are filming in landscape mode

- Make sure you leave 5 seconds at the start of the video before you start speaking / moving.
- Make sure you leave 5 seconds at the end of your video before you stop recording.
- The deadline for video submissions is Fri 16 Apr 2021, 17:00
