About the Event
Featuring a huge variety of real ales, ciders and perries, with great entertainment
Come and enjoy Derby City Charter's 36th annual CAMRA beer festival taking place from Wednesday 10th - Sunday 14th July 2013.
This exciting event will take place in the Darwin at the Assembly Rooms and for the first time in a large marquee based on the Market Place in the heart of Derby giving the festival a different and fresh feel.
There will be a huge variety of different real ales to choose from including a bar featuring the city's many breweries all together which we are proud to say will be a very first for the city. Different Derbyshire ales will also feature along with an abundance of beers from across the country.
A fantastic variety of ciders and continental drinks will also be available to choose from. We are pleased to announce that the mead stall will also return this year due to its popularity last year. Many other stalls will also feature including Pipers crisps, Merry Berry Chocolates, CAMRA merchandise & membership, a cheese stall and a variety of hot food to hopefully cater for all tastes.
There will be a good variety of entertainment as usual and this will be announced soon but please check Derby CAMRA’s website for further information.
This year's festival theme will be celebrating the life of the famous clockmaker and scientist John Whitehurst FRS who was born 300 years ago and lived in Derby.
This is an 18+ Event. Customers may be asked for ID on entry and when purchasing alcohol.
