About the event

This event is promoted by The Dalesmen Choir, Derby LIVE are pleased to act as a ticket agent.

This event is now off sale at Derby LIVE but tickets can still be bought on arrival at St Peter's Church.

The Dalesmen are returning to their home town of Belper for their Autumn Concert at St Peter’s Church. The Dalesmen will be performing with their guests The Horbury Singers from West Yorkshire.

The two choirs appearing will complement each other’s choral style with the beautiful lightness of  the voices of a ladies choir in contrast to the deep resonances of a male voice choir. The varied programme will certainly cater for all musical tastes, in what promises to be a very enjoyable evening in the beautiful and spacious church.

Adding great variation to the two choirs will be two instrumental soloists, who have performed in the Dalesmen’s Music Student of the Year competition. Saxophonist Daniel Poole was a very impressive winner in 2018 and Jorge Beardsley gained third place with a compilation of outstanding performances on several of his electric guitars.

All profits for this concert will be donated to St Peter’s Church.
