About the Event

A year of celebrations will run from 2026 to 2027 to mark two significant anniversaries: the 50th anniversary of the Derby-Osnabrück twinning and the anniversary of Derby achieving city status.

The celebrations will feature a range of exciting events hosted by our culture and community partners to unite our communities and celebrate all that is great about our city.

Taking place on Sat 6 Jun in various venues across the city, including Cathedral Green and Derby Market Hall, the programme will feature Derby-inspired performances, showcase our performing arts sector and feature great food, with fun for the whole family.
