About the event

Oddsocks Productions return with a summer delight not to be missed!

The Comedy of Errors is one of William Shakespeare's early plays. It is one of his most farcical comedies, with a major part of the humour coming from slapstick and mistaken identity of the twin-brothers.

A servant and master from far off Syracuse arrive in Ephesus in search of their long-lost twin brothers. In no time at all they are trapped in a terrifying chain of chaotic events. Tormented by a wild wife, a moody mistress, challenged by a crazy jeweller and damned by a demonic doctor the terrified twosome run headlong into a climactic happy ending which defies all probability. A summer delight not to be missed!

Due to the extension of the current coronavirus restrictions social distancing measures will be in place for this capacity capped performance. On arrival customers will be shown to a social distanced seating area and we strongly encourage minimal movement during the course of the show and the wearing of masks whilst moving within the event space. Hand sanitising facilities will be available on entrance and within event site.

There will be no catering on site to minimise movement so please bring your own snacks and drinks.
