About the Event
Be part of the 30,000-strong crowd for an evening of classical music and fireworks at one of the UK’s biggest free outdoor classical concerts, in the stunning natural amphitheatre that is Darley Park.
The theme of this year's concert is time. Read on for full details of this year's programme (there are some special panto-themed additions yet to be announced!).
Classic FM's weekday drivetime presenter John Brunning will host this year's concert, with Conductor James Holmes and soloist Grant Doyle.

Pre-order a Picnic Hamper for Two
Tired of lugging that all important food and drink to the park?
This year we're excited to be offering a selection of Picnic Hampers for Two available for pre-order. Just go to our Merchandise page, choose the hamper you'd like (there are meat, fish or vegetarian options) and collect from the Derby LIVE catering tent at the concert.
Priced at £25 for a Hamper for Two, each hamper contains a selection of either sliced meats, fish or quiche, cheese, crudités & dips as well as new potatoes, bread roll & butter, salad selection box, fresh fruit salad, homemade cheesecake and 2 glasses of wine (187ml each).
Yum, yum! We wish we weren't working so we could have one with you!
Pre-ordering closes on Tuesday 27 August.
Car Parking
Car Parking will be available at St Benedicts Catholic and Performing Arts College and Derby Rugby Club for £5. There will be limited Disabled Parking for free at car park next to the cricket pavilion at the Abbey Pub end of the park.
Other information
In the interests of safety, audience members are asked not to take barbecues, sparklers, fireworks, Chinese lanterns, animals or gazebos to the park.
